MIX vs WIki

Nah, you kidding? MIX is better than we ever hoped, and it's all because of you guys.

We are thinking about what kind of role the Wiki still plays with JETSET. It's a lot harder to use, that's for sure. It might be more of a place for information instead of interaction.

How do you think it should be used? If at all?

Ditch it (sorry to say). This mix stuff is light years ahead. so, is the mix software free?

Now, ditch only the Wiki - not the stuff in it. If you could move it over, even under some kind of archive, that's would be great.

MIX is using Ning.com as a service. We pay for certain things that allow us to customize it, so it's not 100% free. But anyone can use Ning to create a social network, which is pretty cool.

Sorry to say but ive already disregarded the wiki too be honest, cause its totally blown away with mix. we can see what was discussed most recently, ask the host a question about their thread they have posted more in detail, and we can build on ideas alot more collectivly unlike how the wiki worked to cause fear in some of the users... so MIX all the way ha

yeah, for interactivity it's a no-brainer for MIX. using the wiki as a place to record info about each episode or something would be the ideal use. just an info repository.

I too saw the "MIX" intro in one of the shows and thought - another social network. But, after sending emails to the hosts personally, I find this to be a much better place to ask the questions and make comments.

I've been around long enough to mostly keep my comments to myself - mostly because the hosts are too busy/not interested, or other people are "trolling" for fights. The "MIX" people are all great, sensitive, knowledgeable, smart, and well experienced. So far, I haven't seen anything AT ALL bad on this site.

That's a miracle on its own!

There are so many "internet" thingies out there - but choosing this Ning/MIX thing was a great choice!
