I thought this could get pretty funny. What are some songs you have on your iPod (or worse, bought the entire CD for) that you feel awkwardly guilty about?
Anywho, me and some of my friends were driving back to my place after watching semi-pro from the theatre. I have my ipod hooked into my system and i had it on shuffle for some reason and after the 3 of us were listening to an adrenaline pumping song "coming undone" by korn then all of sudden the "care bear theme" song by John Sebastian starts playing and i instantly cringe in embarrassment with my friends laughing at me hysterically.
I can't help it that song holds a lot of sentiment with me. The first Care Bears movie was the first ever movie I saw at the theatres.
awe, haha. My most embarrassing song would have to be Hot Potato by The Wiggles. I dunno why, but I still like it...it's so catchy and has you signing right away. My friends have yet to hear it, but I know when they do they won't let me forget it. >.<<br />
Also, I have never seen the Care Bears movie or show, for that matter. Only on Rugrats, lol, but I do remember that they looked like the cuddliest bears ever! =]
Any of you remember that Eiffel 65 song "I'm Blue"?...Yeah I have that on my iPod, slightly embarrassing, but you can't front, that song was hot during its time, lol.
1. my humps by the black eye peas (yes. it tis so catchy)
2. bye bye bye by nsync (i do know all the words... and the dance)
3. best of both worlds by hannah montana (i don't know why i have this song)
4. hot potato by the wiggles (i really do love this song)
5. national anthem of the ussr by the red army choir (thank you anonymous for this one)
i have 2, yes, 2 albums by warrant (cherry pie and dog eat dog(?)) and the first album by slaughter. now i like hard rock and metal but hate hair bands (there is a difference, for you whippersnappers out there).
however, i'm a sucker for a good hook and warrant and slaughter could write a hook, believe it or not, and still rock a little but. so, while i'm trying to defend these purchases, they're still pretty embarrassing. and i don't care what you say, the song "cherry pie" is a great rock anthem. if i had to go with one slaughter song, it'd be "desperately"...which reminds me: why is it so addictive when someone sings in falsetto?
My cd collection is pretty diverse. its like 50 percent hip hop. Hard stuff like Beanie Sigel, Joe Buddens, Kanye, Nas, T.I, Ludacris. Then there is a good amount of r&b and very lil rock, BUT IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL, WHAT DO YOU FIND IN MY CD CASE?.......
Random. And i try very hard to hide it......but it make me feel all warm inside. ........*backspaces over that entire last sentence*....*is embarrassed for sharing* lol
Do not be ashamed of any song that means something to you. Music represents the different phases in our life. You may not still be in that same place as when you bought it and it shows how far you've come.
I have the Backstreet Boys discography on mi iPod. I was doing a small video and i needed part of a BackStreet Boys song for the video, since i didn't remebered the name of the song i downloaded all and never deleted them. They truly bother me when i do a shuffle.
And this is specially for Zadi, when i started to listen to salsa i was ashamed to have Hector Lavoe and Ruben Blades on my ipod. Not any more though.
