'Non Russian Orthodox Religion to face troubled times

Lets protest - non orthodox religions are going to be persecuted by the russian orthodox church..Let's write to President Putin and the Rev. Aleksei D. Zorin.and tell them what we think about these moves;

Any ideas how we can do this.- the priest says this;
“We deplore those who are led astray — those Jehovah’s Witnesses, Baptists, evangelicals, Pentecostals and many others who cut Christ’s robes like bandits, who are like the soldiers who crucified Christ, who ripped apart Christ’s holy coat,” declared the priest, the Rev. Aleksei D. Zorin.

This particular religion has persecuted severely such ones in concentration camps since WW2 going into the 1970's and is still happenng. We should try and help these people and let them know how we feel, they carry out torture, humiliation,confinement and many things you would never dream f against other faiths.....

please add as you wish......also this is one reason why the UN will soon ban false religion as she harbours non peaceful measures to get their way.
Mr Aleksei D. Zorin you aren't going to get of lightly and we object your reasoning!!!!!!

It's pronounced "Yaw-Weigh," but it's not supposed to be spoken aloud.. when you say it you're supposed to whisper it, and while whispering the first syllable you breathe in and while whispering the second syllable you breathe out. This is supposed to symbolize how God is the essence of Life, and without him/her you cannot Live, Just as you could not live without breathing.

This is a problem, and yes this is one step on how government can say this religion is banned and how the UN can do the same thing..
I never read the any JW in any history books pushed there beleves on people, like the above Priest is, but they go to door to door and give people free stuff for them to read and are very nice people.; ▶ Reply to This

God put his name in the bible so many times and it's sad that false regligion took his name out of the bible. His name should not be taken out of the bible. And you do not have to wisper it! Twisting scriptures up is what made people think. Jehovah's Witnesses have gotten through bans and recieved SOOOO many blessing from Jehovah in so many ways and they do not wisper Jehovah. What are you talking about? There is not a gazillion ways to worship God. That's why there are sooooooooooooooooooo many religions. It's sad that they all can twist up the bible. I mean you can make up any excuse for anything by saying. "it goes against my religion", just because of the "religion" they are in. For example rituals or w.e where kids get burned and walk through fire.

If you and I were to read the same line of text from the bible, or the torah, or the q'ran(did I misspell that?), or Tao Te Ching, or any philosophical/religious book we would probably not get the same thing from that line. What we would pull from it would be based on our individual lives, experiences, etc.

So, I was not advocating finding a way to make a line of scripture say that it's ok to burn kids or something, I was simply saying that if two people read the exact same thing, they are not going to interpret it the exact same way.

In fact, if you read what I said, it implies that there has to be more than one way, because each person thinks and acts differently, so of course no one is going to worship the exact same way. This means that every single person that worships God has their own way of doing it. Even if you took a group of people from the SAME religion, they would not all worship in the exact same way.

Even though I never did say that I support justification of crime through religion (and that's because I don't support that), I notice that in your previous statement you said "false religion."
What, to you, makes a religion false? As we have both established that everyone worships differently, how can you say what is and what is not worship?

Let's use your example of burning kids. Say some person is in a religion where burning kids is an everyday ritual... And say he or she burns a kid. Now of course, they should be punished for the crime of murder, but how does that make their religion not a religion?

So, Religion is simply a set of beliefs and practices having to do with the nature of the universe, purpose of life, etc. etc. . Nowhere does it say that those practices or beliefs have to be law-abiding ones... I'm not saying that people should be able to get away with crimes because of their religion (they should have to answer for their crimes), but I am saying that just because someone's religion seems crazy and immoral to us doesn't mean it's not a religion.

Now once again, I am not advocating burning kids, or any crime. I am not saying someone should be able to get away with a crime because of their religion. I am just saying that even if someone does horrible horrible things in the name of a religion, it does not make that religion false. After all, a religion is a set of beliefs about the nature of the universe, creation, purpose of life, supernatural entities, et cetera.. and if there is a religion that has a belief-system containing committing crimes, it doesn't make that religion false. If anyone, including people of that religion, commits a crime, they should stand trial for that crime, and they shouldn't be able to get off the hook simply because it's ok with their religion, but that doesn't make their religion false.

So once again, I ask you, What makes a religion a "false religion" ?; ▶ Reply to This
