some more ant facts:

a weaver ant can hold 100 times its own weight while hanging upside down on a clean pane of glass, and withstand extremely high wind speeds.

they can consume and store a much larger volume of food than they should (size-wise) witch they bring back to the nest and regurgitate for the rest of the colony.

In one year, a single colony of wood ants consumes over ten million insects.

ants consume more meat than lions, tigers, and wolves combined.

the soldier mound building wood ants squirt formic acid about three feet.

only ants and humans keep domestic animals. ants farm aphids, as the adult ants live off of honey dew, witch the aphids secrete. the aphids get protection, and the ants get food. they often carry the aphids to new parts of the plant, where the dew is sweeter. they also put them under large leaves when a storm is coming. we still don't know how ants can detect rain before it arrives.

Ok…so I have done some extensive research and this is what I have found. I really should be doing work right now but here we go….lol

It takes glass one million years to decompose, which means it never wears out and can be recycled an infinite amount of times!


Most lipstick contains fish scales!


Some ribbon worms will eat themselves if they cant find any food!

AND last but not least!!!!

Slugs have 4 noses!

Female sharks can reproduce without male sharks. AND, London Bridge "did" fall down, but it was bought and reassembled in Lake Havasu, AZ.
