The power of some songs...
unfortunately a lot of them stay unheard. Thats why I'm dedicating this topic to protest and social awareness songs. Feel free to post any powerful songs that fit into this category.
Heres a song by the protest band "Chumbawamba" to raise the awareness of the Gary Tyler case. I think this case has to stay in peoples awareness until the injustice that is obviously in place here is abolished and this poor man is set free.

Woah, and here i thought Chumbawamba only did 'Tubthumping'. That was pretty darn good.
I am a big Dylan fan, so i have to post some obvious songs.
First, The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll which tells the story of William Zantzinger who hit Hattie Carroll with his cane when she wasn't fast enough with the drinks. She then died and Zantzinger was sentenced to six months in jail.
And the second is of course 'Hurricane'. The story of the boxer Rubin Carter who was incarcerated for nearly 20 years.
