That's an interesting point now that you think about it. Steve shaved off his facial fuzz, now it's back... Coincidence anybody? perhaps not :P

I think Zadi prefers whatever she thinks looks best on the individual guy. For me, she likes some facial hair. Other guys look better clean shaven to her.

In my opinion I think most guys look good with a day's growth on their face so they're not totally clean-shaven, but not messy-looking. Unless you have a really defined, square jaw, a few days of growth tends to look like you're just not in the mood to shave. I'm in that class, unfortunately.

I prefer to keep a beard. I like the way I look better with a beard, but I also like to keep it on the jaw line (some folks call it a "chin-strap" but I'm not so down with that lingo). I use it to define my facial structure.

however, I have been known to shave on occasion, esp. when I've got a new girlfriend and she expresses curiosity/wants to see the whole face, which is why I'm shaved at the moment.


lucky for us, she thinks I look better with the beard too. but I'm a mercurial individual; I like to keep the appearance fluid, when possible.

oh... and steve definitely looks 10x more GQ with the goatee-stash combo, and I'm forced to concur with tubejay on the zadi-no-beard issue.

Ha! Hmmm... I would say it completely depends on the guy and how the hair grows. :) scruffy or clean shaven -- it's all good.

Im just reading over the post and I think that it is funny that the only people that have written in it (before Zadi's last post) are dudes. I want to get more feminine opinions in the thread. Plus a little more specificity might be good: In or out? Mutton Chops, Soupcatchers, Goats, Flavor-savors, a snail, Ardvark poo, a booger the size of a hedgehog, a firebreathing leprechaun? Any preferences?
