Lol i think this debate shall be fun...

personally i do not know a whole lot about computers but i do have a Mac...i am an artist and want to become an animator and was told to go with apple...

i have grown up on windows but looooooooooove my mac and see no problem with it <3

I've been using os x more often recently, but once i have enough time to customize my linux install to my tastes, i'll be back on it.

Windows used to be trendy... back in the Win95 days. I worked in a computer store and we were selling it like crazy. It came on like 12 floppy disks.

I think it's a lot more likely google and apple will merge at some point down the road. and then they will rule the world and become massively scary and uncool.

imovie owns windows movie maker....

I'd say over 75% of the best user made viral videos are from a mac!

plus our commercials are better!

I dont know if anybody sadi this or not but i think which is better depends on what you use your computer/notebook for. When it comes to media and the sort which includes movies music and the rest Mac Pwns Microsoft period. But when it comes to the business side of things such as making websites, word processors, and all that other businessy type stuff Microsoft is the I_337. well that was my $00.02

I have a Mac (obviously), and I must say that it is better than any PC I've ever owned. iMovie, Comic Life, Finder, Dashboard, Garageband, the list goes on! Windows never had anything like these (except iMovie, but Movie Maker is pretty bad nowadays) and all of them work in an undefined proficiency (didn't expect a 14 year old to know that word, eh?) with flawless features. I can't wait for Leopard, and when it comes, all I can say is "Hasta la vista, Vista."

I don't... let's say, CARE whether or not I see the code cuz I don't get it in any way at all. Macs have an entire program devoted to making your own website (iWeb) and it is very useful in designing art (Alias Sketchbook Pro + Comic Life x Mac / Height = STICKomix!). That's my story and I'm stickin' too it.

I have always used windows until today when i get my first mac, so i dont have much to say about mac yet. What i do have to say is that neither is better, they each have there pros and cons. From what i hear, Windows is great for more computer savvy people who know Code and all that jazz while Macs are great for movie editing (the reason im getting one) and just general simple and cool interface.
Its really all preference, no one is better than the other.
