What do you think happens in the final Harry Potter book?

i work in a library and we already got our copies for processing.

spoilers: the deathly hallows is a wizard mind plague that contamintes the school including hagrid who rapes harry to death at the end.

i have not read a single page of that series in the ten years its been out. and i really do work in a library and some of my coworkers just can't comprehend why i wouldn't.

As I am also a Harry Potter all-of-the-above, I was wondering when this thread would go up. ;)

I'm nervous about the end, the BF and I have had several conversations about theories, possibilities what the hell we'll do with no new books. As much as I hate to admit it, it seems lately that the only ending is that Harry will have to sacrifice himself in order to defeat and kill Voldemort. I'm actually more worried about Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville and the rest of the gang, since we already know we're going to lose several characters in this book. I'm going to be bawling like a little girl with a skinned knee as it is....

If Snape is a good guy, he'd better have a damn good defense for the death of Dumbledore.....

I'm sure Hogwarts will reopen, maybe Professor McGonagall can be Headmistress! Someone theorized that Harry is actually the last Horcrux, that Voldemort inadvertently caused it when he tried to kill Harry and failed. I'm not sure how I feel about that but it would fall in with the Harry sacrificing himself to kill Voldemort theory.

I just keep telling myself that JK Rowling isn't going to let us down, that the end will be everything we hope it will be. Fingers crossed. :)

Snape is a good guy! Dumbledore knew he would die because Voldemort told Malfoy to kill Dumbledore to try to get back at Lucius. Snape made a promise to Narcisso (Malfoy's Mom) that he would help Draco kill Dumbledore....But at the same time he also made a magical promise to the Order to help them so how could Snape then kill Dumbledore??

Because remember what Dumbledore said before he was about to die "Please Severus, please"
Severus then could fulfill both his promises...Remember he is still trying to make it appear he is a Death Eater when he is really part of the order. Snape is a good guy!!! Just wait to Deathly Hallows!

OMG Zadi - you think Voldemort and Harry both die?!?! Get outta here!

Snape's good. Voldemort dies, is defeated. Dumbledore returns via time travel from back when he was still alive, re-opens Hogwarts and get Harry back in school. Nobody "ends up" with anyone -they're still kids remember? Except maybe Hagrid. All but one or two of the Horcruxes are already destroyed. Harry, Ron, and hermoine live...but some of the adults die. Maybe Snape.

thats my theory anyhow...

Here are my predictions

1. Harry and Voldemort will both die.
2. Snape is good, Dumbledore and Snape had a deal to keep Snape's Unbreakable Vow.
3. Yes, but there will be some funky security.
4. Ron and Hermione will finally bump loins. hahaha
5. One is on Harry's forehead, I'm pretty sure of that!
6. Yes yes yes!
7. Somewhere in England, haha.

i dont know why but I've always thought that harry dies at the end , and ron has a crush on hermonie
