... So here, i go. Dude i really love how my life has been going so far. I've got the highest score on the mathematics portion of the GEE (the test to get out of high school). I got the highest score in my whole school. I'm not trying to brag but i really do feel really happy about myself. life has been going great for me ever since you last heard from me, but as like any other teenager I'm almost always depress; like now, but not as much as i used to be. So high guys I've been skateboarding like crazy and been getting really good at it so I'm happy. but i still am not at a point where I'd like to be. You see theres this girl that i like but i i just don't know how to go about talking to her so that i can sway her in my direction. Don't get he twisted however, I'm like one of those socially weird people who cant talk to anyone. I'm actually have a couple friends. i also can talk to SOME girls. but i see and here all of my friend talk about how they have girls with them galore. i see regular people at my school who have girl friend and are "in love". I'm not trying to say i want love, but i do want something. this girl i was talking about earlier is a 10th grader like my, shes very nice, cool to hang with, pretty, smart, and i consider her a friend. i would really like to get involved with her. but I'm going to tell the truth here, I've only had to girl friends in my life, and when we broke up i still talk to them till this day, and they consider me a really great friend. so i guess I'm a nice guy. I've been talking/ or think, if you will, to myself and I've haven't had a chance to find anything I'd like to know. i don't want to grow up and be a singel man from the age of 16 till i die.;), ;(...

Comment by Pookie on June 2, 2008 at 7:51am: ask her out on a date. it could be something simple like ask her if there are any movies that she wanted to see, and take her there (unless she says, 'sex in the city' then take her home).

What is nice about a movie is - you do not have to do much talking - and you have a subject in common that you can talk about immediately afterwards.

make eye contact, and with a nice smile, say hello every time you see her. show up at the same places she goes - uh, at school, not out on the streets. just play it nice and easy.

Just make sure she knows you notice her, its annoying when i hear my friends tell me a guy likes me, but he plays the cute shy card and doesn't seem to care. Oh yeah, and don't piss off her friends, they are the givers of advice on weather or not to say yes.
