Mmmm... well I find depending on the night out will determine the music I play beforehand. I love most types of music but I've found some tracks that always get me in the right mindset.

Blue Juice - Vitriol (I just want to jump around when I hear this song!)
Architecture in Helsinki - Debbie
The Gossip - Standing in the way of control
Simian Mobile Disco - I Believe
Queens of the Stone Age - First it giveth
ACDC - Back in Black (classic)

Really depends on where I'm going and on the weather.

Some ''happy songs'' work wonders. Check out ''Obala'' by the Serbian/Montenegran band Flamingosi on youtube. You might not get a single word, bu the song is just freaking happy :P
