Does the password screen say "Propogate"? If so, type in the new password. And how do you mean you can't logout? It's just not letting you? Maybe it is your browser?

Yeah, Firefox won't let me scroll down at all. I'm assuming that's where the logout icon is, at the bottom. I opened my old fashioned Internet Explorer and accessed level ii from there. so what do you think of Multivac's confession. And to see that Multivac is personified, at least by a shadow kind of tells us that he is not a super-computer...maybe.

I'm glad you were able to get to level ii. Sometimes Firefox goes all weird and links won't open up. I don't understand it but it happens.

Multivac could be a she, remember. Zadi had lunch with a female of whom we still don't know who she is or what the relevance of that is, if any.

But yeah, I agree. It's nice to know that Multivac isn't a HAL 9000. Any ideas about what Multivac confesses to, though?

I made it in...I'm still in post episode101 awe. Now, what the hell is "The quain1-1-2 A.D." ????? Multivac's mistake? and did he mention that he is not our enemy because of our conversations we had in the conversation "Where is Multivac Taking Us?"

If you look at the propogate post just above yours, Vincent, I think that is a clue. I don't know who that user is but since their username has to do with the SXSW episode, I'm guessing it's a clue in the right direction. Do a google search of Quine 11280 (I'm pretty sure it's 80 no AD as I had previously thought).

Quine(as taken from wikipedia): A computer program whose output is its source code is named a "quine" after W.V. Quine.

So, if that's true then 11280 is a computer program AND the source code of the program?

It's been a long day and my brain is fried but I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the mystery.

Edit: The propogate post says 11288 not 11280 but in the video is SOUNDS like 80. My head hurts.

I'm not too sure that this guy isn't just a random dude Zadi and Steve met at SXSW but he may have said something valuable. The reason why I don't really think so is because he says: 11288, and I don't think that's what Multivac said at all. I could be wrong. This Quine 11280 is definitely the lead we need to be investigating though. I've Googled "Quine 11280" and didn't get anything.

BTW has everyone here read "The Last Question"? It's a story written in 1956 about something that can now be construed as the Internet turned all knowing being called Multivac. I have to thank Ken Charpie for bringing that to my attention. You can find the story at: http://www.multivax.com/last_question.html

It is a very good story. I really really liked it aside from the fact that it's so rich with clues.
