Energy Drinks

What's with all the hype nowadays with energy drinks? Lot's of my friends drink it all the time now in school. We even have a few kids selling them at my high school. And the price on them is outrageous, or at least compared to a good old Amazon. I see some sell it for 2.50/can.

I've also heard they can be dangerous from all the caffeine and whatnot. I had a friend who drank two without eating any breakfast one day. By second period she felt like she had stomach flu, although it's probably just because she didn't eat anything.

So what's in this stuff? Do you guys/girls drink them? Share your opinions on energy drinks. Also, I read an article saying Europe has restrictions on the drinks. Should the US implement similar laws?

Fluoride is in tap water, which is basically free and doesn't aid in showering the streets with plastic. I think it's easy to get behind that idea.

Anyway, drinking four cans of Red Bull before running around for an hour is obviously an awful idea. That's like drinking four shots of espresso on a treadmill.; ▶ Reply to This

But he only had them once a day, albeit every day before partying every weekend. So maybe it was the "Small amount often" rule in effect? Now, he brings coffee, Jamba and such, only the occasional Monster.

Jaggerbombs are awesome! where i live you can buy cans of energy drinks that are three in one. three energy drinks in one can. sometimes i have drank a small one the same size of a redbull called red rave then at lunch i have one of the three in one ones. i have never had any problems drinking this many and some of my friends drink more then me. the only thing i know is that they will slightly shirted the amount of time i have to live. i dont mean that i will die when im in my 30's or 20's i mean i will die maby when im around 80 if i live a somewhat healthy life; ▶ Reply to This
