Hi Ron C,

Well, not sure if you read the have been following this closely, but you left out a category, where some believe in none, so the 'which one are you talking about' question is not very useful to this group - or maybe they could answer "well you believe in the one god, but i believe in the none god

Man has built in himself images as a fence of security - religious, political, personal. These manifest as symbols, ideas, beliefs. The burden of these images dominates man's thinking, his relationships and his daily life. These images are the causes
of our problems for they divide man from man. His perception of life is shaped by the concepts already established in his mind. The content of his consciousness is his entire existence. This content is common to all humanity. Peace and Love!

"There is not sufficient love or goodness in the world to be given to imaginary beings." - Nietzsche

I do agree with that particular quote, and a moderate amount of what he has to say, but don't take everything Nietzche said to heart.. After all, what would a cynical man who died decrepit and a virgin know about bettering the world?

I am a strong believer in individual practice and beliefs in your own god. Some churches are corrupt in history and still today. When you force a religion down someones throat that is when fighting begins over who is right and then ultimately War (watch the history channel)!

Your God is your God, every church says the same thing through different stories that all have the same lesson. As for me, well I don't want to change your view with my opinion. This is something every intelligent individual should be able to decide for themselves, again on a personal level.

Something to think about though, look for the plagues described scientifically on the discovery or history channel. It is Amazing and really makes you think about what could have happened to make the plagues take place, or if they were plagues at all.

Ever wanted to ask God a question? Now you can! God, being the almighty tech geek that it is, has set up a direct chat application, so now your questions don't have to go unanswered!

Give it a spin!

igod Required Pop-ups. The online version of god apparently requires active x or some other Microsoft pest to install to talk to him. Ha. A real god would simply do this in Adobe Air.

I'm not sure if everyone here has heard this or not but I believe it is relevent in all discussions of god and/or religion. "When you understand and accept why you reject all gods but your own, you will then understand why I reject yours". This statement, often missinturpreted as one of blatant athism, is directed at those who catagorically attest to having the only answers in regards to the religion issue. I use it often and do not fall into either catagory, I believe there is a higher power, but refuse to believe the "plan" of any "God" would insist that the attrocities of society are inevitable. It is my belief we were created and left to our own devices. We were given the tools to accend to become more than what we are, or to digress into oblivion.
