When I first got "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" I've played that game for 12 hours straight. (Including using the washroom and grabbing a drink)

without a break? longest? god, i don't know. Maybe 6-7 hours. That was back in the long long ago, in the beforetimes. Before jobs and car-payments. Before I even discovered drinking, let alone lost it.

It was probably spent playing/beating Sonic the Hedgehog, since that brilliant charmer didn't have any save feature.

hmm..id say when i was a wee little lad, 10 hours of excitebite one nite on the nes.

i remember i disguised my bed with pillows and random stuffed animals to fake my parents that i was asleep to pull it off.

the fact that you could make your own tracks, and every now and then when you boot the game up, the music sounded like it was being flushed down the toilet made the replay value of the game infinite.

I've recently had several sessions where I complete a game in a single sitting. I don't want to waste a lot of time going back to a gamesas ultimately I achieve pretty much nothing by playing, it's just fun.

I played through CoD4, Halo 2 and 3.. Damnit, I know there were others. Well, I can't recall any more right now, but there were a few others I'm fairly sure.

Hum... I think when I was a bit younger, about 10yo, my parents got me theN64 with Super Mario 64 for my birthday ( oh joy! ^^) and since it was a time when we did not care for girls and beer, and had no job, I played this game everyday, for entire days sometime, cause I was a little noob and I didn't understand a word of english, so it made the game a bit more difficult, but never lost its primary function : entertainment.
More recently I think I spent 8h straight on Halo 3, same for Halo 2, but i mainly play CS:S and Supreme Commander. The first sometimes get me lingering on a server for hours cause i want a huge score or I'm stuck in a deathmatch server, where sometime i forget theres no end to this round...
The second gets me playing for at least 8h for one big reason: it's freakin impossible to finish a game under 30 minutes! SupCom is the best and most difficult RTS so far, you can't win with just one kind of units like AoE3, and you can't just sit there and send a shower of nukes like in C&C generals. My most recent longest game is 2h30, it's only 2h into the game i gained the advantage... after i got hit by a nuke..

Lol anyway, I'm no pro gamer, but I'm playing a lot i guess. oh i almost forgot Simcity 4 and sims 2 , those games are time consuming bitches :P

resident evil 4. 8 hours or so. ....i couldn't go to sleep cos i was so damn freaked out. so my friend and i just stayed up screaming and playing the entire night. um. well, i was screaming.

abou 2 yeats ago my parents left town for the weekend so i played through the resident evil series0-4 with code veronica took me 2 and a half days nonstop i even made4 my sister get me oranges and ramen
