Ninjas are the way to go. Pirates are gay, with there whole 'booty searchin' and hangin on a ship full of dudes all the time with there long hair and rum. Oh, and POTC 1 2 and 3 sucked.

Ninjas own. They got style and fight well because they had several years of training.
Pirates are dirty, smelly and kill people for money or goods and they can only be gay since there are no females... And if there were they would kill them.

Pirates aren't gay, there is somethin called pirate islands where theres a bunch of hookers and shit... So everytime they rob someone they go down there and party for weeks straight.

NINJA'S PWN!!! Pirates are cool and all, but I prefer being held up by semi-visible wires, making random kung-fu battle phrases, wielding katanas and shurikens, and complaining about soiled/broken honor.
