oh dammit you made me sign up! - i wanted to respond. you know what model i would use. give normal quality content away for free - HD version for a $1 an episode. easy as. get people used to the idea. micropayments will always win. Also have some really TRICKED out flash thing that shows donations. eyecandy and being able to put something in always work with me. it's a nice feeling/feedback thing.

Whatever you do you will always succeed. I have faith in that.

I don't mind the banner, if you guys don't. Obviously the site looks a lot prettier without it, but being your friend, it actually makes me happy to see such a big banner of payment adorning your site. Yay!!!!!!!!

It was pretty awkward that the movie trailer was in the beginning. I loved that Zadi introduced the sponsor at the beginning, but I would have liked to have seen the trailer at the end of the show, maybe even after the NNN chime. I still would have watched the trailer at the end, because Zadi welcomed the sponsor in the beginning, letting me know it was okay. Just having Zadi mention the movie, and being honest and open about why she is mentioning the movie, makes me happy. Seems more profitable for the advertiser to leave their trailer at the end, because it gives people time to take their idea in.

First of all, congrats on the sponsor!! I just got a sponsor as well, so I'm trying to figure out a balance between advertisement versus content too. I by far don't have a sure fire answer to this, but if I come up with any pearls of wisdom I'll pass em your way.

BTW, The Kung-Fu contest was a brilliant way of making "War" a relevant sponsor IMHO.

I thought the sponsor segment was done just fine, especially with the transition into the kung-fu contest. I really don't find anything wrong with ads and the placement doesn't matter that much to me. Anyways, it's great that you guys are able to make money off this, because we all know that money = better content when put in the hands of people like yourselves.

Personally, I think you have to keep the content free, and not enrage the average viewer. The latter being the harder to figure out.
